Zingst is situated at the east end of the peninsula Fischland-Darss-Zingst embedded into a 20 km long and 2 km wide land, between Bodden and the Baltic Sea. Zingst has its own harbour and during the season there are daily excursions to the island of Hiddensee among many others. Mooring for private boats can be arranged by advance registration. A very interesting thing to see is the crane birds (up to 60,000), which in the Autumn evening gather here. This is an inspiring view.
