The Palazzaccio is part of the estate of S. Villalta Fabiano located on the outskirts of the city whose historic centre of Arezzo is 1 km away. The owner's family descends from the historic De Bacci Venuti noblemen of Arezzo, who ordered the execution of Piero della Francesca frescoes of "The Legend of the True Cross" in the Great Chapel of San Francesco in Arezzo. The villa is set amongst vineyards, olive groves and woods. The villa dates from the sixteenth century and due to restoration it has kept its elegant original architecture.
