Separate log outdoor sauna 1941 (44 m²), completely renovated 2014, wood-burning stove, running water, 2 showers (and hot water cauldron), WC, dressing room and sauna lounge. Hot tub at extra charge.
Use of outbuilding must be arranged separately with owner. Stable building is used by owner. Old, idyllic Finnish manor-style chalet in Tuusula’s Ruotsinkylä area. “Villa Tammikko” is an idyllic location for escaping from today’s hectic daily life, providing relaxing holidays in the heart of nature, yet close to the capital’s many attractions.
Used earlier by the Finnish Forest Research Institute (Metla) for administration, the chalet is now a National Museum of Antiquities’ protected building. It is bordered by 500 hectares of State forest. It stands on a 8000 m2 well-kept garden plot. In summer time small swimming pool (diameter 4,5 m) on the yard.

In summertime there is more sleeping accommodation in the yard cabin for 6 persons, and another 2 persons in the room attached to the sauna: use of both of these must be separately arranged with the owner.
Eight bicycles and 4 sets of walking poles are provided. By arrangement, catering services; nature tour guide in evenings and at weekends can also be booked. Canoes for rent.
